Teen Poetry Contest 2014

April in National Poetry Month, and as we have done for the past 8 years, we will be having our annual Teen Poetry Contest. This contest has two categories, one for grades 6-8 and one for grades 9-12. There will be one winner in each category at each library. This year the winner will recieve a $50.00 gift certificate as well as serving as the entry for the library into a national poetry contest held by VOYA. For more information check out our entry rules and form. Print out the form and bring it to the library with your poem, or you can submit your poem online here. In the meantime, check out some books to get your poetry writing juices flowing.
